no money order is like a pre check its the simplest way of payment with out check, you just go to a store make one worth as much as you want and use it to pay

No...the cashier's check is a typed bank check from the bank. The money order is a preprinted document with a copy underneath it...the agency selling it just stamps in the amount.

its pretty much the same thing; both are instruments in replacement of cash for payments or other transactions.
a money order can be bought at any store or financial institution and usually its for a small amount of money.
official checks or bank checks are issued for large amount of money because with an official check, it is more secured than a regular money order.
