lots of people fall for those things though..i got one the other day I think from ..well I can't remember where..but they gave me a "job offer" my resume is on career-builder, and monster, and they said the job was transferring money in pay pal accounts..by going to the bank and putting the money in their accounts..now you and I know that, that's the dumbest thing ever. |

Everyday. I also get e-mails telling me that I need to update my security details with 'a bank'. But it is never the bank I am with, it just goes to show how much fraud is out there. |

I get three a week and have done for about 6 years! they all get spammed so it must be someone new each time. A new one I get is saying that i've won a lottery I've never entered worth millions! can they please have my bank details?! I'd like to think there were internet lottery companies that give out prizes randomly and never expect anyone to pay an entrance fee but I just can't. |

Yep, I went through a period of getting loads of them I just reply with a few profanities thrown in. Ignore them! |

yeah, Ive had 3 different emails today telling me Ive won stupid amounts, they really must think were stupid, but there must be people more gullible than you or i, i feel sorry for the people who fall for it |

The answer is they are hoping you are very stupid.
After all they wouldnt keep doing it if no one replied and they got no money.
There are a couple of good scam the scammer web sites out there named after the fraud - I think one is 419fraud.com . Some make the scammers go to extreme lengths including getting them to paint themselves and take pictures as proof. Some are very very funny and slightly disturbing as well! |
