Yeah, the nail has already been invented, but what about a nail that can help your house hold up to a hurricane? Ta-da! The Hurriquake nail!

Well if u don't think of the & what they'll need as well as alot of us
in the future u can't be very broad-minded in the heath spectrum.
We need inventions & more meds in health. The deceases, Aid's
Cancer's, M.S., Lupis, Arthritis's that r crippling people, Hepatitis C, infant syndrom death, premature babies & reason & revention
All deceases period! All the children are our future. Health is a top
priority & we have so far to go inventing, not to mention the Crime Ratio has to be improved, I could go on & on but in reality,
we've just begun!

I think the next important thing has yet to be invented, the problem is that we don't know what it is yet.
Look at the rise of the mobile phone, of the internet, and before that the personal computer. In the fifties everyone thought they had what they wanted and none of this was even really on the horizon ;) |

No everything hasn't yet been invented, since the mind is ever expanding, and with the modern lifestyle, there is always some other invention that will be needed.
With regard to science, and the science of medicines. It is essential that there be cures found for the dreaded diseases.
Inventions need to be urgently found in order that we harness natural phenomenon to help this planets energy resources.
I could go on and on listing what needs to be invented. |

Someone wanted to close the US Patent Office for this very reason........back in 1894.
You should travel a bit in the World - you will see a lot of needs that require filling.
As new technologies etc... emerge, possibilities abound.

Not at all. There are so many things that remain. When it comes to discoveries and inventions, only human imagination and mind are the limits. Even if nobody is interested in any new inventions, just solving the problems that mankind faces today will require important new inventions. Only if people lose interest in exploration and research, will the process of inventions come to an end. That would be very unfortunate. |

the new things are not always a good thing .we always find out we managed before with out them the mobile phone has it,s liabilities has well.It causes ignorance .Eg people at checkouts /driving /superficial calls and conversations in public.while money is to be made there will always be inventions or so called modifications like a smaller phone with more gadgets on them..Are they not trying to invent smelly TV programs .Handy if you like Farms etc see what I mean not good what for why TV is to watch not to smell.Some programs smell anyway they are crap |

There are hundreds of things that exist solely in the realm of science fiction and fantasy.
These include Faster than Light engins, time machines, all sorts of things that would be important in space and the colonization. I do agree though that cell phones are pretty much as good as there gonna get. |
