I LOVE cartoons!! However, I like the older ones, like the old Disney cartoons with Goofy, Mickey, Donald, Chip and Dale, etc. They are great! |

Cartoons were originally not aimed at children. When Disney's Snow White premiered, it was a new phenomenon that people went to see regardless of age. Cartoons developed into a medium for children later in the 1900's and in the 40's through 60's children watch more live action shows than cartoons on television. I still think this is true. We have culturally come to believe that cartoons are a child's medium, but in my opinion, if you enjoy it, watch it! I watch everything from Spongebob Squarepants (which is brilliant) to highly stylized historical dramas from Japan. |

Oh I dont think so,all of us have an inner child,and if it makes you happy and increases the feel good endorphins in your brain,then go for it!!! there is nothing wrong with an adult who watches cartoons,as long as after the cartoon is over he goes back to being an adult and fulfilling all his/her responsibilites.Many adults still love cartoons,and some people will tease them for it,but nobody really minds!Enjoy life and stop worrying about what other people think ;). |

cartoons are awesome, but it depends on what kind your talking about. spongebob or what ever else there is, no. but the ones meant for adults like drawn together and south park and family guy, ******* hilarious. |

It's not such a rule any more. There are cartoons called 'anime' that are made for those of the older types. They are mostly Japanese but they had been coming into the US and there are serious cartoons out there like on Adult Swim and some of the other channels.
I am an adult and yes, I watch cartoons. |

no/yes age doesn't matter about watching tv cause anyhow they r cartoons for adults like family guy or mission hill and i think would only matter to the adult about what their children watch. |
