anytime you take something that isn't yours or take something that you didn't pay for well then thats stealing no matter what the unusual circumstances are. just because someone else broke the glass and started the robbery, you are still a accomplice cause you jumped in and took part. it's called an accessory .....charged with possession of stolen property or maybe recieving stolen property. any way you look at it...it would be smarter for you not to get involved with things of this nature. try making better choices, your future depends on it. GOOD LUCK! |

I can see how you might not think that it's stealing because the stuff was just left behind. They may not care what happens to all of it, but it still wasn't yours to take. So, technically it is stealing. The other thing you may not have thought of is tresspassing. You can definitely get into some trouble for that too. You may not want to do a school report about that and bring suspicion to yourself. Leave that situation alone- and don't steal anymore!! |

i highly doubt the cameras still work, and to me what you did wasn't wrong because the place was torn down, but the law might say different, i wouldnt say anything |

If the stuff was not yours and you took it without permission, it is stealing. |

Anytime you take something that doesn't belong to you, that is stealing. You will probably get caught because I know where that park is and the surveilance camers are still working. They are looking for people to prosecute where they can recover some of their money. |

man it's not stealing think of it as helping your hood your cleaning up the place |

Longjohn is trying to scare you so ignore that. Your situation is confusing isn't it. If I were you I'd call the city and ask who owns the building and ask that person if you can clean it up in exchange for the merchandise. They might take you up on the offer or just let you have it. As for the merchandise it kinda sounds as if it would be considered abandoned property if what you have said is true. However, don't forget the property owner. He is the one who ultimately will have the right to whatever was left. |

it is still considered criminal trespass to enter someone elses property/ and if you take something yes it is stealing |

Anytime to take something that is not rightfully yours, yes, it is stealing. Even though this building is abandoned, it still belongs to someone, and that is criminal trespass to private property |

Yes you are a thief. Value of stolen property means either misdemeanor or felony. When you go to prison you will meet many nice people who will take care of you and will romance you. Dont go into the showers alone. |
