Is it legal to lie to the Superior Court in the State of Washington?
I have recently been told that there are not enough lawyers to defend a perjury case in Superior Court in the State of Washington.
I know of a particular case which has issues filled w/ lies and my lawyers won't persue it.
I was told there were only 2 cases in Washington!
It is illegal only if you are under oath; if you're not under oath, it is considered very, very naughty, but it is not a crime.
You seem to be asking another question about why your lawyers won't pursue perjury charges against someone. If so, you should ask them; however, the answer probably is that the decision to prosecute someone for perjury is up to the district attorney, who may be reluctant to do so unless there is strong evidence that the person lied on purpose (as opposed to being innocently mistaken).

no, its perjury and it will send you to jail. Why take the chance they won't persue it. Also, if you upset the judge enough who knows what can happen.

I would think not.

Lying to any court is considered perjury and definitely not legal, ethical, or moral.
