It's more enjoyable, that's for sure. I'd rather see the joy on my nieces' and nephews' faces when I give them things than just about anything in the world.
The "blessed" stuff - well, I'm not sure that's important. One should give because it helps people and makes them happy, not because of the promise of some future heavenly reward. |

Yes, It is much much better to give, than to receive. Whenever I have a chance to help someone, either a friend, family member, or a complete stranger, I always feel much better, after I have given something, either money, or just helping someone out, in there time of need..I like to help the elderly, when I go shopping etc. I will always ask, do you need anything from the store? Maybe they are in need of a medication, that ran out, and have no one to pick it up, for them.. It always makes me feel much better, knowing that I have helped somebody..Have you helped someone today? |
