of course! it is a child going thru seperation anixtey. if her/his grandma comes back often, tell them "grandma is leaving, but you will see her again" this helps your child know and understand that a person will come back, that they arent gone forever. also when you leave tell them, "mommy/daddy has to leave, but i will be back" also playing peek a boo is a good way to help seperation anixtey. showing them "im gone, Im back" with yours hands, a blanket, or anything else. your children will start to understand that once someone leaves, they will return. |
