Depends on why you are in hospital. If you are a girl, PJ bottoms can make it difficult to go to the bathroom (if bending bothers you, or if you get lightheaded, or have balance problems) If you need a bed pan or bed bath PJs definitely increase difficulty. You can be as comfortable or as uncomfortable as you choose with your clothing. any casts or broken bones -- definitely no bottoms. all in all a nightgown is better -- use one that buttons or zips in the front -- it makes it easier for staff -- and you don't have to pull it over your head. Just get well & get out of there asap -- there's alot of disease there......... |

gary,
PJs beats the heck outta those ding-dong back-less tijuana gowns they issue to you...so I say yeah, they're a lot better than the alternative, which is folks catching a glimpse of your backside when you gotta go to the head. |

Wear whatever the heck you want... within reason of course. I would wear PJ's if they made me feel better. :) |

Um, if they're not see-thru I think PJs should be fine. Make sure they're not your superman ones though, keep them for home.
A robe is good if it's cold though, and most hospitals are cold. |
