If you want it to stop, tell him it's distracting you from your work. If he continues, report his actions anonymously. There should be an 800 number somewhere in your place of business, usually in the break-room. You have every right to NOT be harassed while at work, and what he is doing is just that. But you can't make a complaint until you tell him it bothers you. So tell him. If he's too stupid to stop, report it. Keep a diary too. Helps you to remember what he said and did that was bothering you. |

Up to around the point a coworker said he truely cares for you, I was trying to debate if he was just being friendly or flirty with what info you gave me. But with the info you gave me after that point, I would say he is straight out putting the ball in your court waiting for you to play. I would get all of my ducks in a row and organized and go straight to the human resource office if you guys have one or to the boss above him and tell them what you told us. |

This isn't flirting. He is being downright sleazy, and I am surprised that you aren't feeling much more uncomfortable about it than you sound. I don't know what this man's problem is, but he's damn sure got one, and if you don't put a stop to it, he'll take it to the next level before long.
My advice would be for you to start acting super-formal. Don't smile at him. Pull your hand away when he starts playing "handsy" with you and make it very clear from your straight face and your non-responses that you don't appreciate this downright sickening, and somewhat juvenile behaviour. Guys like this are real sleazebags, and if you just don't want to leave the job, at the very least show him that his behaviour is absolutely out of line.
There are a lot of men who get a kick out of using their position over another person, to act in this kind of way, knowing that the other person is fearful what will happen to his/her job if they don't go along with the behaviour. I know it's easy to tell the person to tell him what to do with his job and risk getting fired. But you are entitled to a secure workplace where you can get on with the job you are hired to do without any kind of harrassment, and that's exactly what this is. So if he does ramp it up another notch, in your place I would get reeeal aggressive with him right back and tell him that he is about to get himself reported for sexual harrassment. Meantime, document every incident with date, time and description of the behaviour. It will definitely be in your favor if you do have to threaten him with exposure - and do that if you have to. |

Good luck with that. Boss/worker relationships never work, and what he is doing now could be reported as harassment - at least the bit about protection and that baloney.
But winking, and saying you are a good worker, well, that doesn't seem too bad. Eye contact is normal.
You are the one there...you have to make that determination. Don't get fired over it though. |

Sounds like it to me, don't get involved with the jerk that's a quick way of losing your job. The questions he asked you were inappropriate. You should file a sexual harassment charge against him. Please don't fall for that line. He is going take you with him when he sales the company he is just saying that to get you in bed. The next time he touches you tell him you don't like that. Show some respect for yourself and other women in the work force. Also document each time he touches you or makes a comment. It will help you in the long run. |
