Smoking Pot is not a sin, smoking it all the time is gluttony (too much of one thing) and letting it comsume your life making you do bad things for it, i.e.)stealing, selling yourself, etc. is bad but not a sin. |

Part of this depends upon your interpretation of what is a sin and what is not.
Some will say that harming yourself in any way is a sin, and therefore smoking pot is a sin. However, many people smoke, drink, take medications, eat food that is bad for them, etc.
Taking care of your body is important for a healthy life, but I have never heard of anyone attempting to say to not live a healthy life is a sin.
So, in my own opinion, smoking pot would not be considered a sin. |

No brainer!. your body is the temple of the holy ghost read 1 corinthians 6:15-20! .i smoked dope for a long time all it did was make me broke and stupid . Smoking pot itself is not a sin. Smoking pot and then doing stupid things (such as drive a car and injuring someone), that's a sin. |

Doing anything that is potentially harmful to your body is a sin. Jesus said that we need ot treat our bodies as temples. Even if you drink, smoke pot, or do any other type of drug you are harming and defacing the temple that God created. In the long run you are destroying God's temple. |

Putting any type of smoke in your lungs is a sin. Smoking is like suicide and suicide is a sin. I've realized this lately (After watching a certin movie) and it seems true enough. By smoking you are knowingly killing yourself. Not that it's stopped me, I just believe it's true. |

No, but smoking pot is horrid. Who the heck would want to smoke something illegal that has poisons in it? I definatly hate using stuff like that, and, as my opinian, to do something like that is stupid anyway. |
