Not necessarily, but often times more expensive items are much better quality. When you buy cheap things, they dont last for nearly as long, and often times the reason they are so cheap is becuase they are made with cheaper material, and might not hold up as well as more expensive, well made things. |

With certain things (clothes and the like for example) are usually better but I previously had a rather expensive laptop (around $3500) and it was the most horrible piece of crap and worst purchase I have ever made and now have a more modest $1000 laptop that is way better. |

No, I used to work for Best Buy and I know that often times the cheaper items have the greatest profit margin. So with that being said, you're actually getting "a better deal" if you buy the more spendy stuff. |
