Sin is Sin it isn't rated..but remember to be redeemed you have to ask for forgiveness and mean it..The higher the sin(in the eyes of mankind..ie..murder is worse the lying) the harder it is for you to ask and believe that you can be forgiven..That belief (or faith if you prefer) is essential for forgiveness..

This is a question that has been debated for many. many years. I, personally believe there are levels or degrees of sin, but that to God sin is sin and at judgement we will have to account for ours, whether big or small.

well some of them are punishable by death such as murder and not honoring (well at least cursing)your mother and father, while theft is not. You'll have to look it up. Some these are in Exodus 21. I don't know off hand if you'll find them all or you'll have to look further
