Look at it this way. This is how stack the portrait & landscape doc. The point direct the top of the document. So, in Portrait doc it's like this:
^
!
While on Landscape doc, it's like this.
<-
When a portrait document in on top, you put staple on upper left. because when you browse the docs (with the paper in front of you), you can use your left hand to turn to page 2.
WHEN the top is a landscape doc, & 2nd page is portrait then you should staple on top right. When the top page is in front of you, you would then use your right hand to turn the page. On page 2, it;s portrait then you use your left hand to turn the page (consistent with the thing I mentioned above).
Cheers... |

i would bet that the correct way (or more common anyway) is to staple it portrait style.
the landscape papers should be rotated clockwise, so they're stapled at the bottom left corner.
hope this helps :]
and i think that is consist even if your first page is landscape. |

Well there is a proper way and its 45 degree angle withabout 2cm away from the connor. I've heard that a few time. But usually people don'tdo that unless your working for some high end company.
Just do it the way you like to staple. |

This is a commonly asked question. Every time I see most people answer with this: Portrait in front, the landscape, then whatever else might be included. Always staple on top right, with a horizontal staple, trying not to slant sideways like commonly seen!

its a personal preferance but I like doing it on a diagonal of the tip of the papers because it just looks nicer. Its just your personal opinion =) |

i think you shjould turn the landscpe over to make it look like a portrait, and staple it. in other words, the long part should go up and down, and not side to side. |

if i had a mixture of portrait and landscape, i would staple the top left corner of a portrait page vertically.... which would come out on the top right of a landscape page horizontally. this way its the least obtrusive to the content on the pages...
at least that's what i prefer |

Just align all the pages together and if it includes both landscape and regular pages then choose a way to align the landscapes that makes sense...align them vertically and staple in the top left hand corner. The top left hand corner seems to be a preference among most businesses. Hope this helps!! ;) |
