when you phone sky or bt etc etc, you are either on hold for ages or going around the menu with different options for ages BUT when you select to pay your bill, they answer immediately and it's all done in 5 mins. that is so amazing ? (he says sarcasticly). lol |

I always selct the "pay your bill" option for anything as they answer you quicker. I just say "oops sorry must have pressed the wrong option" and they usually transfer you to who you really need, it skips the queues. |

I always go to the pay your bill or talk to a sales person line then I have them transfer me to the department I want. Sometimes works and sometimes thay just put into the hold pattern you would go into anyway. |

Bizarrely, when I tried phoning BT recently, to sign-up to their broadband package, I was on hold for 10 minutes before giving up........ you'd think that they'd try harder to answer calls from someone trying to buy their products!
Made me think - if they can't even answer the phone to sign me up, then I'd have no chance of getting help if there were problems with the service.... therefore will not now be going with BT! |
