I wouldn't quit, then you are out of a job. But it definitely warrants a serious salary conversation witch him. Payroll laws are pretty specific about how and what is paid based on negotiations during hiring. Also, if you can't work it out with him, you can always file a complaint with wage and labor board. If he doesn't like having the conversation, maybe he will fire you. Getting the termination in writing and then file unemployment while you look for another job! |

Quitting your job should be based on more than a single factor.
It is unclear as to what is happening that caused you to change status, but only you can determine whether those factors are enough reason to quit.
You should only quit when you have an equal or better paying job (assuming money is a factor). But, only you can decide whether the job meets your needs professionally and financially. |

Not if you really like your job, how about just sitting down with your boss and clearly reviewing your pay. Get it in writing that should stop the problem. If not how about you figure out what your pay should be ahead of time and present it to him so he doesn't have the opportunity to screw it up . If it ends up being too much trouble well then I guess you know when it's time to move on. |

Horribly unprofessional. I agree. However, the responsible thing to do would be to begin dropping in applications in other places and then be prepared to give 2 weeks notice so you don't end up looking like the one who's being irresponsible. |
