If you are giving false information on loan applications it is fraud. Also if you have no intention of servicing the loan, that is also fraud. Changing your name by deed poll is not illegal, but if you are using various false names to secure funds that is a crime. |

Totally fradulent. You're using a false name/identity, and you're requesting loans with the deliberate intent to default on them.
It's not likely you'd get away with it though, because loan officers are careful to check your tax identification and credit history, so they'd spot if you had suddenly created a new identity. |

Do you honestly think that someone as dim as you could outwit a bank when it comes to £100,000? |

Absolutely it's fraud. Any time you do something deliberately deceptive, it's fraud. |

You will be able to be linked with your alias names and still be responsible for payment of the loans. |

Absolutely it is fraud. Your social security number will not change even if you change your name 1 million times and each and every lender will see a default of the other mortgages and will never lend to you on any additional mortgages. Keep in mind this is a public site and everything posted here can be tracked. |

I can't believe you'd need to ask! of course it is!!
In the broadest sense, a fraud is a deception made for personal gain. Fraud is a crime, and is also a civil law violation. |

Yes it is fraud and in the UK you always go to prison for fraud. |

uh...yeah. AS if changing your name is all you'd have to do to avoid the first lender chaising you or convincing a 2nd lender to make a loan. |

If you take out a loan with the intention of not paying it back, it's fraud. What you're suggesting should get you about 10 years. (Unless your name's Paris Hilton) |

In the US, your social security number would follow you. Also, it is illegal to change your name for the purpose of commiting fraud.
Keep your side of the street clean. :) |

It's fraud or obtaining by deception - you have to be who you say you are on the application. Most lenders require I.D of some sort before handing over the cash. |
