No, it's because he wants you as his slave. If you're whacked out on chronic, you don't do much work. Not good for a slave master.
He could tax it if he wanted. Clearly, someone who is profiting BIG-time is helping the politicians decide that legalisation is not a good thing. |

the goverment could totally tax it if they would sell it like cigarettes. the only problem is, is that most weed smokers grow it themselves. No way for goverment to tax it, so i would have to say that's part of it. |

And if you get busted for it they charge you with not affixing a tax stamp,,so much for the tax thing. |

There are ways to tax it. Medical funding depends on this illegal substance to help cancer patients and other medical issues. However, the US has yet to figure out how to control it.
