we use Western Union to send money to my husband's family in Cuba also to send money to my Dad a couple of counties over from where I live. They always get the money, although it can be a little pricey. But safe, yes it is safe. |

Just go online and type in Western Union or the other ones on google and then click search. Thats the best way to find out for sure.I have always used Western and had no problems with it. |

western union is good. and moneygram is also. moneygram wont let you send money online if they think something is a scam though. which is a good thing!! my friend got scammed and i almost did too if moneygram wouldnt have suspected fraud. |

they are OK but safer is a firm called CURRENCY DIRECT tel:020 7813 0332. look them up on www.curreniesdirect.com.Ihave used them and they transfer to any country at full rates and no commission. the person who dealt with me is charlie.m@currenciesdirect.com |

Yes, Western Union is a safe way to send money abroad.
...and its all done in US Dollars...so you know how much you are sending and you know how much will arrive.
As its done in dollars there is no exchange rate variation from one country to the other.
Obviously if you pay in pounds sterling then the calculation will be done there and then..

Yes it is most of my friends transfer money through western union as they are businessmen and they have never complained but dont trust moneygram. |

W/Union is OK, providing you know, or trust the person you are sending to. If you are sending money as payment for an internet purchase, the receiver could be a scammer, who collects the money and disappears without sending the purchase. |
