Oh, momma! Could this really be the end? To be stuck inside the web, with the Yahoo blues...again! |

I've heard of this great site that brings you up to date on all the latest scams and urban legends. It's called snopes.com. Type in what you're looking for and it will tell you about it, if it exists. Most of those things are just rumors. <*)))>< |

that is false, if it were true we would be getting e-mails from the yahoo! company informing us this, especially now, that if it were true you have less than 48 hours to do something about it. |

This is (apparently) a chain letter. Chain letters normally annoy people and send panic and pandemonium to all who treat it seriously.
E-mail services like Yahoo! Mail and Gmail and Hotmail, and IM services like ICQ, Y! messenger and MSN Messenger, are often used by hundreds and thousands of people around the globe. Therefore, pulling a prank on the web can send panic and pandemonium to (almost) everyone.
Why would Yahoo Messenger be shutting down, when it is so succesful? Why would all the accounts be deleted after so many years of good service?
For more information on these chain letters, please proceed to this website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chain_letter |
