I've had terrible luck with Best Buy. The two closest to me have both been awful with service. The worst case was several years ago when I tried to buy a new 1.6 GB hard drive (yeah, it was big back then.) I travelled an hour to get there, since I live in the middle of nowhere, bought it, brought it home, stuck it in, and my computer booted (which shouldn't happen on a brand new hard drive.) Turns out someone bought it, installed it, took their old one and put it back in the package, resealed it, and returned it to the store where I subsequently bought it. After calling to tell the store what happened, they threatened not to take it back. I drove an hour back up there and had to argue with the manager to get them to correct something that was their fault to begin with! |

Hit and miss. Sometimes you get the salesperson who's an enthusiast and is excited about the technology, sometimes you get the scumbag salesperson who would sell a mirror to a blind customer. Finally, you get the guy who knows nothing about technology or selling (worst type).
Our Best Buy has a good cross-section of all three types. |

yes, they seem to scrape the bottom of the barrel and give em a blue t-shirt and pay them close to nothing, so yea, what do you expect. |

THEY SURE ARE!! Our Best Buy in Stuart,FL SUCKS!! No one is ever around to help you and when you do ask a question, they give you the wrong answer anyway! We have been dealing with Rex Electronics lately for our needs! |
