It really depends on where you want to work. Now I am not sure about the places you have listed but I know that stores like Walmart and Zellers generally hire at around 14 or 15. McDonald's is always hiring.

On average its probably 15 or 16 where you can start working. I would call to see if your old enough to start working at these places. but i think petsmart and Petco you need to be a lot older because they dont trust teenagers with animals which is really stupid especially since a lot of people have animals since they were born!
