Let’s say you make $5.00?
Let’s say you make $5.00 on every item you sell, this is cleared money, would it be worth it to pursue the venture. I sometimes make more but $5.00 is the norm.
Additional Details
I make around $135.00/day with no effort.

I used to sell Christmas cards and small gifts when I was 12 or so. It was one of those things where some company gave me the catalog and I would get the money and place the order. I liked it because I think I made like $2.00 on every item and it added up pretty quick. The only cost to me was my time.

It depends on all the risks inolved, long time security of your venture, and how many items you sell within a certain time range.

Not for selling, unless you are good at salesmanship, and you have a car to make deliveries, and you have a phone answering machine to receive orders, and so on.

Many get-rich-schemes involve selling, without mentioning the fact that there are only so many of a given object can be sold. How many such sales people are out there already, knocking on the same doors (physical or virtual), competing with you? How specialized is the product, where only certain people have any use for it? How good is the quality relative to the price, especially in comparison to what is readily available at a supermarket or variety store?

Sales is a very difficult field in which to make money, partly because the only people who really make a lot are the sales managers who have quite a few people working under them. It's not exactly a pyramid scheme, in the legally a fraud sense, because as long as there really is a product, it's not a fraud. But the lowly Avon lady or Tupperware sales person rarely makes enough to be worth the time and energy. And those are the well-known, quality products lines! Trying to launch something basically unknown is far more difficult.

You got a great set of answers here. Can't add any more to that.

depends on how time consuming it is... if it takes a whole day to make $5, then hell no. if it takes 5 minutes, then keep it up! Unless it's illegal...

Depends on your age and also the effort put into the sale of each item.

5.00 is better than nothing

Oh Boy!
How many can you sell a day? One? Probably not worth it. One million? Fire away?

Are you accounting for your time?

share the trick?

You should pursue the venture if your sales volume is large
enough to provide the standard of living you seek. You would
need to sell 25 items/hour to achieve an income of $56,000
working a typical 40 hour work week.

That would depend on how marketable the items are. If there is a high demand for them and you can sell enough to make a decent living or pay off a few bills, then yes. But if they are low demand items and you can't sell them to save your life, then no.
