Oh my, Oh my! Yes it does. Experience makes you wiser, so you can act like a smart *** and get away with it. You can say,"I told you so" more often and get away with it.
You can blow more things off because you really don't care.You can guilt people into doing more things for you because you are old. The list goes on and on, my dear. There are many benefits.
I am enjoying every minute of it and I hope I live to be 100. If I had known all this when I was younger, I would have become older sooner........Think about that one!!!...

i think the answer to that is yes and no, i have been a nurse for 13 yrs working in nursing home for about 9 of those years.. yes it can get worse but they learn so much and have so much to share.. they also know what to do the next time something happens. they have plenty of life experiences to share. no, physically life doesn't get better but i think life is more knowledgeable and meaningful. old people have a lot to share and not all are senile just because they are old. i love my job and wouldn't work in any other field than geriatrics. they are wonderful people with a lot to share. |

Well guess you get out what you put. You know what i mean. if you sit back and let it pass you by with a job you hate and a lifestyle that others expect you to have, but you secretly hate. Then no it won;t get better.

Not true when you retire you can spend all the money you saved on the people and things you really enjoy. Plus you don't have to work a crappy job anymore, thats a major plus |
