Try a playgroup for you and your child if the child is young enough. If not parent groups and parenting classes are great. Meditation, Long baths, nice walks, aromatherapy and Yoga or swimming. |

Life is very stressful with husband and a child. We have two children. My husband does eveything he wants hunts, fish, goes to ballgames, bowls, goes to friends houses, anyhting he wants to do he has been doing it lately. It's been getting difficult because he is never home. I'm a stay at home mom and I know I chose this but he promised me a totally different life than we have now. We have an 11month with milk-soy protein allergies. Our 3yr old is autistic. He is in pre-school a couple hours aday. Sorry I needed to vent to someone and who is better than a complete stranger. I just have had a rough week this week.
The only thing I get to do is Yahoo Answers! I guess it is my stress reliever. Once in a while I will smoke(outside of course, I refuse to smoke around any child). But that is it otherwise I have to deal.
You could get a hobby. Tell your husband you need time 1-2 a month or week by yourself(whatever you decide). Start a mom's night out. You and a couple moms get together and go to dinner, bingo, bowling, or a movie. Take time out to go for a walk, jog, or run by yourself. Join a fitness club, you'll be able to get rid of your stress and get into shape doing it.Goodluck. |

Marriage changes your life forever. It is a huge responsibility. A lot of today's younger women enter into marriage hoping for a "fairy tale " marriage and a lot of just fantacise the being the "beautiful" and perfect bride. Marriage is more than just that, it is commitment, it is responsibility, it is sharing your life with someone who has his ways set just as you have yours set, yes there will be stress involved. BUT remember often times it is only as stressful and as traumatic as you make it.
When they bundle of joy comes a long, it isn't always a bundle of joy, you have much much responsibility. It's not fun and games. It can be but not always. Being a parent is probably one of the greatest blessings that anyone could ever have.
What YOU need is maybe some alone time. NICELY talk to your husband, let him know that you are stressed and that you would like some time alone. We all need that(just don't make a habit of it) Go for a quiet walk, maybe go to a mall or maybe have your husband and child go out while you enjoy a nice hot bath and a good movie. YOU DESERVE IT!!
Remember, this, you situation is only as bad as you make it or allow to be. Chin up, sport a positive attitude, force yoruself to do it. When "mom" is stressed, everyone else becomes stressed. You certainly don't want that.
Maybe if the stress gets too bad, you should seek some counseling. |

life is not difficult if you will not think you self but instead understand them, better you read the novel " men are from mars and woemen are from venus" to understand more your husband. this is to last long your marriage. divorce is not a medicine to all problem unless your husband are not faithfull to you, or drug addict or etc... but no matter how bad the person was i believe he will change if you give time to him and help him change. |
