Ok, apparently..most of the answers you have got here are from people who are trying to make you join a certain money making program from their referral link.

To be frank, most of the PTC (paid-to-click) money making programs like adbux.org are scam. They make you do all the work of clicking ads and never pay you.

But that does not mean all money making programs on the net are scam. I do in fact, earn quite handsome pocket money from working online.

Types of programs from which you can earn money online if you DO NOT have a blog or website are:

- Paid to Click (99% sites are scam though)
- Paid to Share (paid to share pics n videos)
- Paid Surveys (you earn by filling out surveys online)
- Squidoo (creating squidoo lenses which are like one page websites)

However, if you write a blog or own a website like me..you can add up a lot more to your online income through these avenues:

- Contextual Advertising (you get paid for displaying ads on your site depending on the no. of visitors o your site e.g Google adsense)

- Affiliate Marketing (you get paid commissions for selling products through your site, e.g I got good commissions from selling Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when its demand was at peak - I sold it through my amazon associates a/c)

- Sponsored Posts (you need to have a blog for this - advertiser pays you $5 to $20 per post for writing about thir product and linking to their website in the article)

- Text Link Advertising (easiest money ever - you get paid for putting up advertiser's text link on your site - your site/blog needs to be of good quality and regularly updated to earn good money from this)

Bottomline: It takes hard work but can easily be done with a little startup cost and alot of your time. Another thing, eBay only comes in handy if you find deals or have stuff to upload from time to time. It's not a solid business model.

The best way to earn money from home online is to do affiliate marketing.

This is where you sell goods from other merchants straight to consumers and make a commission. There a great number of affiliate marketing networks that you can join. They will provide you with merchants and their products that you could sell.

You don't even need a website (but this would be the best way of doing it). You could send links to your friends and family. You can add links in most forums in your signature line. Don't spam as people will not tolerate this.

You could pretty much sell anything under the sun. Just do a Yahoo search for "affiliate program". And you will find a great number of merchants who will be happy to sell goods and services for them.

The best way to start is to come up with a niche (or theme) that youâ€™re passionate about. So for example, if you're into dogs, why not setup a blog about canines or be even more specific just on Golden Retreivers. They (the affiliate networks) pay you and not the other way around with no startup cost. Only funds needed is to get a reputable hosting company to host your website/blog. And I mentioned a good one which only cost $10/month. Yes, there are even cheaper hosting companies and some are even free. But trust me with the amount of research that I've done. And all the headaches that I went through with other companies. The company I mentioned above is not perfect. But for $10/month, what do you have to lose.

It's not easy to make money from home. But it can be done. With your time and low start up cost, you have the potential to make a decent living. I know because I already do. Best of luck.

PS - Don't waste your money or time buying ebooks or "systems". They only get the creator of those items rich. All the information you need is free on the internet. Yahoo search is your friend. There are a ton of blogs and forums to learn from. With the links that I provided, you should be ready to start in no time.
