That must be awful for you. I can't imagine how you must feel. I, personally, would talk to my Dad (as long as he is not abusive to you or your mom). Give him a chance to tell her first. If that is not an option, go to your Mom and explain to her what has been going on.

tell your dad that you know whats going on. then tell your mom as well. they will solve their problem, be it good or bad, you'll know you've done the right thing. some people can change their behaviors, some can't....but your mom does not deserve to be cheated on, and especially when your at home, when your dad thinks you don't know. COME ON !!!! GET BRAVE !!!!! |

Tell your father that you know what he's up to and that he needs to talk to your mom about this. If he doesn't, you'll have to tell her. There's a possibility that this will break up your parents' marriage but for every action there are consequences. Your family will need counselling. Good luck. |

I was probably about 14 when I told my mom that my sorry excuse of a step-dad was cheating on her. Of course, she blamed the other woman and eventually blamed me for telling her. Some people would rather not know. Telling them--forces them to act.
You have to do what is right for your family. No one knows your mother and father like you do.

It depends on your mum's personality, is she the forgiving type? if not then don't cause that will probably mean the end of their marriage. He is probably having an affair and that does not mean he is in love with this other woman. It will pass, let it go. |

Talk to your father, let him know you are aware of the situation and it must stop. If he listens there is no need to tell your mother and hurt her, but if he continues you must tell your mom. Just remember this in no way is something you are responsible for and it isn't your place to try and fix it. Your father is the one at fault not you.
