My daughter's aunt calls my house every single day. All day!?
When I come home I have over 30 call just from her on a daily basis. She pops up over my house without calling. She wakes up my other children(especially my 6 month old) by ringing the phone constantly. My boyfriend be trying to rest for work and he cant because of the phone. She even calls his phone and I never even gave her his number.( My daughter called her from his phone once and she took it upon her self to just start calling his phone). She rings my phone and leaves a message. then, she hang up and call his phone with the same message. She is annoying! I need help! how should I tell her to back off? Remind you I'm not with her brother anymore, I live with my other childrens father. And we're tired of her aggravating us.
Additional Details
Her brother and I do not communicate at all. I've told her once before to not call so much. so she didnt stop so I blocked her number. She then called constantly from work, friends numbers, payphones etc... and the thing is I dont keep my daughter away from her or her grandmom. They are just crazy!

Wow, she is uhh, unique I guess you could say. She may be worried that her brother and his family are not able to see his kids as often as he would like. If you think this is the case, make sure he can see them on a regular basis and that they can call him when they would like. As far as I am concerned, this is the only reason she should be calling you. If you are stilling having this problem with her, I would speak with her politely on the phone and explain that her calls are disrupting your family's schedule and if you can, give her the exact number of times she called on a given day. She may not even be aware of how frequently she is calling. If she gives you a problem about this or is uncooperative, talk to your ex about it. It may help if she hears this from her own brother. If all else fails, simply refuse to speak with her (I assume you have caller ID). As long as you are keeping in touch with your kids' dad, there is no reason for anyone to complain.

CheerMom
Tell her that it's a problem. If you don't tell her now you'll end up blowing up at her later & that won't be fun.

beautifulNHmomma
give her a proper warning and if it doesn't stop just call the police department and file a complaint. Maybe she'll get the hint. IF not then put a restraining order against her. That will stop her!

Sounds like my sister in law she will call as early as 5:30am to talk to her niece about a CD....go figure, what it seems that they are both doing is injecting her self into the child life so she can be concidered the favorit aunt. Give her a time between 7-8pm because she absorbing too much of your time. What did I do? I use my cell phone and had to stop answering the house phone. Its been years since i freely answered the phone.

What on earth does she want?

You will just have to be blunt. Tell her you are glad your daughter has her aunt and that she loves her, but a her calling so often is just too much. Then ask her if she would mind once or twice a week, unless there is an emergency.

If you still talk to her brother, ask him if he can talk to her about it.

Tell her she's annoying the crap out of you and to stop calling and coming over. If that doesn't work, block her phone number and stop answering the door and locking it when she comes by. Eventually, she'll get the message.

Let her know that, while it is perfectly fine for her to have a relationship with her neice, it is NOT ok for her to constantly call your phones. Tell her call the house phone or don't call at all. Also, establish a time when she is allowed to call. Tell her if she calls at a time you don't allow, the ringer will be off. Then explain why.. the baby/boyfriend are sleeping..ect..

Better soultion, if you can afford it, get your daughter her own cell phone. She is to be called on that phone ONLY.

Also, tell her that she is welcome over, but she MUST call first and it can not be every day. Plan a special night for her to come over. Like for dinner (or something) once a week and maybe 1 weekend day.

I'm sure once you (or your daughter) sit down and talk to her about this, everything will be fine.

Hope I helped, good luck.

tell her right out to leave you alone. block her number. if that doesnt work get a restraining order from the police dept. that should give her the message.

Some people do not know how and when to take a no for an answer. So, you have to dish it out to them. You were very patient. Now, since, the water has risen above your neck, you have to take the corrective measures.

Get the telephone company to block her number. Ask your boyfriend to tell her that he does not wish to speak to her. Period. You have to tell her out right that you do not wish her presence in the house at any time. She and her phone calls are not welcome. No matter what she says. Put your foot down and tell her that if this continues, you may have to file a restraining order. :) Tell her that. And tell her straight that if the word gets out, she will be the one to blame and that for all practical purposes tell her , "For the love of the lord, I do not wish to be rude. You leave me with no other choice. Please Keep Away."

Do you think this woman is dangerous? She sound obsessed. If she isn't psycho, then please grow a backbone and tell her to STOP. Don't let her in your house, get a restraining order if you need to. Does she sound like someone you want to have your daughter around. Remember it is your responsibility to protect your kids, even from relatives, if necessary. I would cut off all contact (don't let your daughter call or see her) and yeah, change phone numbers if you have to. Right now you have a crazy woman ruling your life--not good.
