This is what happend right, i said i wanted a job in web design and i saw an advert today for 25 quid an hour which i thinks awesome, he sais i should be aiming higher and that 25 an hour is crap.
He belives hes going to get 150k a year with a company car?

erm whatever...how can he get that much? lol idk but it doesn't seem right. does he even have any qualifications? if not then he really is in dreamland. btw ÂŁ25 an hour is really good. hope it goes good. i'd advise you to take the job. don't listen to you crazy friend. but maybe you should find out more then confront him, because if he is telling the truth you don't want to look like a fool right? good luck.

Thinking outsourcing ruined this field is a terrible mistake. It is possible to make 150k a year, I know several companies that make it happen. Remember outsourcing isn't problem free and cost efficient, you only get that from the few that really care in the real web design field.

Unless he is the best man at that job in the country he has no chance. You can get websites designed in India for a lot less than he would think is a good wage packet

Can you not look up average salaries for web designers in your country yourself? I mean, you design web pages and you don't know that there are tons of sites out there that post this exact type of information for free? You can read it and judge for yourself if he is in dreamland and quit asking us, we don't know about web designer salaries in the UK.
