Plug his nose and his mouth. Elbow him in the ribs. after a few years of this all you have to say to him when he is snoring is "you are snoring dear, roll over." and he will and not even know it. He won't even wake up or remember it.

the store sells nose tabs that suppost to stop snoring.

they have some type of strip for this but if he is over weight it will cause it and there is also a peice of meat or catriliage that lies at the back of the throat and does he sleep o his back b/c if he does that meat is prbably hovering around or over his trachea so when he breathes it vibrates causing a snore. that meat can be cut off.

i think that the only way to treat this case is to visit the doctor really for treatment , may be he needs a surgery or take drugs to stop the snoring .

Send him to a sleep clinic. I snored terribly for years, loudly. I was sent to an ear, nose, throat specialist for a recurring ear infection. As soon as he finished the brief initial exam, he asked "How bad is the snoring?" It ended up I had severe sleep apnea, potentially quite dangerous. Send him to a sleep clinic.
