You should show some patience and respect by not trying to shut her up. Instead, encourage her to sing better. She will be a lot more willing to please you if you offer praise and encouragement. Young egos are often very fragile; do not miss an opportunity to cherish your sibling. One day you'll look back on this and wish you had- or be glad you did. |

Sounds like she's trying to purposely annoy you...which is a little sisters' job (I am a little sister!). I'm sure if you show her it doesn't bother her, even encouraging her to sing louder (reverse psychology, ya know), she'll see that all her efforts to get your attention isn't working. But, it should tip you off that all she really wants to do is spend some time with her cool big sister. Speaking from a little sister point of view, if you trade her annoying songs for a special time for the two of you, I think the annoying stuff will gradually stop. Ask her if she'd like to do some cool stuff with you. Make some time in your busy schedule for her. Even if it's showing her how you put your make-up on, or showing her some cool hair styles, I think you would be amazed that you'll both enjoy that time. Put it to her this way..."Hey, would you rather spend some time in my room trying out new hairstyles than being so goofy?" See what she says. She'll probably be in shock! She might even keep up the annoying songs for a while. But, show her that you mean it, and take her into your room. Tell her that you'll make some time for her, as much as possible, and that you'll do "girly" things with her. See how that works. If it doesn't work, you just might have to ignore what she's doing, and hope she grows out of it soon. <*)))>< |

"find a happy place,find a happy place!"LoL j/k!! But, if you can,get out of the house. Sooner or later,your parents will finally get sick of it and tell her to shut-up! Trust,I am a little sister who loved to sing. My brother always told me to shut-up. Right now, I am a whole lot better. Just remember,find a happy place,find a happy place!!! |
