Some charities collect spare foreign coins from people who have returned from holiday, someone does this where I work for charity. I'm sure they'd be more than willing to give you some of what they've recived in exchange for an equivalent donation in sterling (they'd probably have quite a variety too).
Alternatively just send an email to everyone at work (if they let you) asking if anyone has any left over foreign currency - probably best to do in Sept after the peak holiday period.

Ebay.com Look under coins. They sell lots of foreign coinage by the pound.

I have a small collection of foreign coins, I am willing to part with them provided the new owner would take them to increase his/her collection and in no situation sell them. Well I stay in New Delhi, India so the new owner has to pay for shipping. Contact me if interested.

Try car boot sales, jumble sales or bric a brac shops. Or you could always ask family and friends to bring back some from their holiday! :D
