Stay at home moms generally have enough issues with their own child much less someone elses, so that would rule out babysitting. They have their own little artistic niche they do everyday. In order to help that niche can be turned into profit, such as with sewing can sell speciality clothing on e-bay, same with necklace and bracelet making, you can find the materials locally for an inexpensive cost, and produce for child groups. Any number of things can be done, but each mom is different, and needs to be something they would enjoy. |

my wife when we had our son long ago was in the same situation. there are many things she can do. if she can type, put a ad in at your local university for resume's, term papers, etc. the ad is cheap and my wife charged back then 15.00 for a resume and had at times from 10 to 30 a week. if she is good at any crafts of such in her hobbies. she can make things and sell them to friends, going to the bank. set up a yardsale type deal for the weekend to let the word get out and sell your items. my wife did baskets for all kinds of occassions selling them so much it became fulltime. when my stepmother 's bank was sold she lost her vice-president job. started doing crafts and went to weekend craft shows setting up a table and in no time was making over 10 grand a month. going to shows all over the state on the weekends. take any hobby and make money off of it. teach music if your good. take in a few more children during the week as a daycare or babby sitter. its endless if you search the things your good at. start by making a list of hobbies, former career experiences and put them to good use. good luck and have fun! |

She can also run a creche of small children of the working ladies.
She may also do tuition work even up to the standard up to which she is educated. |

I agree with others, taking in another child or providing babysitting back-up to regular care (when someone else's sitter is sick, school holidays, etc.) is lucrative in the right city. |

She could start a home based business if you have a computer you could work for an affiliate program selling their products and services and make a nice income. Some of these programs are free to start and some require you to pay a small start up fee. I can show you how to make five income streams here: http://www.bbktmks.com/pips.hlmt |

She could watch a few more kids during the day.
If she likes to cook, she could cook dinner for, and deliver dinner to other couples - advertise the service in the paper or church flyer.
More importantly, what does she like to do?
If she like people, and to talk, etc.: Mary Kay, Avon, Pampered Chef.
Be weary of the advertisments to work at home - make lots of money, etc. A lot of them are scams.
Good luck! |

I used to watch my friends kids during the day, most who were in the same age group as my son, this brought in some extra income and gave my son some friends to be with as well. |
