army has the best choices in jobs ever! they have up to date equipment. no hand me downs like the rest. and its a better chance to upgrade to a higher rank. all in all army is best.
i heard that the marines are with the navy.. hmm...
USMC Uncle Sam's Misguided Children//Chump
get a clue marines came from the ocean they are the ground force of the navy.. that is why every marine base the hospital is a naval hospital and not a marine hospital. their officers attend The Naval Academy not marine academy. the marines oops i mean navy... hahah get the hand me downs of the ARMY. why are they still flying around with the ARMY's outdated Cobra attack helicopters. For instance their new uniform was the ARMY's rejected prototypes for the new ARMY uniform (ACU). Why is it that marines say "aye aye sir" when they are on land? hmmm... something to think about. When a Marine officer enters a room, why do they say "Officer on dick" oops i meant deck. hmmmm.... isnt it a floor of a ship? hmm....
Department of the Army, Department of the Navy, Department of the Airforce.. Department of the Marin...wait a sec they Aren't their own department... they fall u nder the navy. along with the coast guard.. hmmmmm HAHHAHAHHAHAAH
do your research before you bad mouth the biggest and best of the Armed Forces... United States Army...
hoo ah!
either way god bless all of our american soldiers..sailors..airmen..and marines... |

They're all great!!!
I am a little partial to Marines though for personal reasons. :o)
Keep in mind that people are only going to answer with the service that themselves, a relative, or other person they know is in. |

Any of the services will give you excellent training, particularly if you're qualified for either technical training or officer's training. If you're at all inclined to the medical field, the military will send you to whatever training necessary, even nursing and physician's training ... free! Good luck! |

if I had to choose , it would be the airforce. I think the marines are too tough, the army too I think and the navy always seemed so weak. known for the gays, if that is your thing , go navy.
and girls should go navy too. |

i would have to say the airforce. i have family members in there so i know that it is very family friendly and the way they explain it is that after basic training there is not alot of hard work involved. they say it is a klot of fun and you get to meet a lot of new people. go for the airforce!!! |

Depends on if you want to live through the experience or not. The marines and the army have a higher casualty rate than the navy and air force due to their infantry divisions. I say all the military branches are great and every loyal american should serve a minimum of two years for our great country. If you don't you should be forced to get the hell out and live in Afghanistan or Iraq and see the how much our freedom means to us patriots. |

MARINES. THERE THE TOUGHEST, HAVE THE BEST BENEFITS AND THEY ARE IN THE AIR ON THE LAND AND IN THE SEA. IT TAKES SOME KIND OF PERSON TO BE A MARINE, ONE THAT IS STRONG, PROUD AND DETERMINED. |

Marine corps! They get the best food and the best training. They are the first ones in and the last ones out in every confilct! That is bravery!
The navy is just transport for the Marine corps! Plus how hard can it be to be in the Navy or Air Force when dunring boot you can get the DI to stop yelling at you by holding up a red card! Whimps!
As for the ARMY it stands for Aren't Ready to be Marines Yet!
The Corps is in my blood! My dad, my big bro and at least half of my friends. OH-RAH! Semper-Fi! |

As a former fiancee of a military officer, the Air Force is definitely the most family friendly. |

this lone situation should settle it:
I was a Marine in the middle of Fallujah during operation phanton fury (now called operation al-fajr). Our platoons were engaged in heavy combat about 2 blocks south of my position. When I tried to get up there to re-supply ammo, I was told by 4 separate soldiers that I could NOT go any further down the street. They were sitting safely in Bradley fighting vehicles, telling me that it was too dangerous to go 2 blocks south where my Marines were fighting ON FOOT! Now, you tell me who you want fighting your battles?! Semper Fi. |
