see if you can find a local flea market. they're usually really cheap with a ton of people ready to buy your stuff. |

if you have a vehicle you can lug you goods to any of seemingly millions of flea markets. you can also try pawn shops or consignment boutiques for valuables/electronics and clothes respectively.
good luck! |

check and see if there is a flea market in your area that rents space to sellers. |

Try in the parking lot of your apartment complex, and if you could get enough other tenants to do it too then you all could split the cost of advertising. Also, some cities of city wide garage sales, for a low price you can put your stuff in a booth at the civic center. What about a flea market? If your city is really small, it might be worth it to go to the next town. |

if you have any freinds with houses you could ask to "borrow" their driveway. or i guess you could do the fleamarket thing. |

Some times you can go to a park. Ask around and see if other people need to have one too. Then you can have a big multi-family yard sale. |

Most cities have "flea markets" where you can set up a space for the day for maybe $5. or $10. There are both regularly scheduled ones -- usually on weekends -- and special event ones, or one-time events put on by a church or organization on their grounds, in a park, etc. Check with the local chamber of commerce or with a local antique shop. They should know what's available or scheduled. |

Exactly what "Worldinspector" said. His answer is as near perfect as any I have seen on the board for a long time. Just run through his list of sources and stop when you get a yes.
Good luck on the sale, hope you make enough to retire. |

If there is a open (vacant) lot near your area, contract the owner to see if you can have permission to set up your sale there. Sometimes empty stores will let your rent for a day or weekend. |
