Thanks for the answers everybody, and just to let you all know I am not trying to use scare tactics on my children, we have on going talks in our house about the effects drugs and alchol have on peoples lives, I am only trying to give a well rounded view and show something that backs up the things I tell them is true. I like to give them any and all information that they are ready for and are able to process, and only hope that when they face making the choice to use or not that they will recall some of what I have taught them and be able to walk away. |

well considering your on here and not with him and you seem to be more concerned about your points loss then your son I would say he is in trouble already....be a mom a good mom and talk to the kid ....be there for him and just explain why you don't want him to do drugs....the only thing that will keep a kid from drugs is a loving relationship with his parents...kids do drugs because they are unhappy or have not been taught their own worth. |

Seriously are you trying to scare your 9 year old out of doing drugs? It doesn't work, honestly I'm not sure what does but it's better to impart wisdom than just trying to scare. |
