ok. when i turn 17, my boyfriend will already be 19, he turns 19 in march and i turn 17 in october, well when i turn 17, i plan on getting pregnant and moving out of the house with my boyfriend, would i be able to move out without my parents calling the cops on me?? you know since i will be 17 and pregnant?(i live in texas) please, this is a serious question,, please someone help me |

Here's the facts..if you are getting ready to move out now, you are probably not having a happy home with mom and dad and want to escape it and your boyfriend.. who may really love you, shouldn't be rescuing you only because you want him to "get you out of there."
You aren't ready to be a mom, hell you aren't even prepared with the basic facts of what laws apply to you at your age, don't bring an innocent child into this until you can LEARN a little more about "not being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen." because your boyfriend is going to have a hell of a time creating a life for you AND HIM on his own income and may become resentful of you that you just want to take care of the house and not pay for any of it.
The truth is, if you really want to be with this guy and want to marry him and start your lives together, there is NO legal way to do that without having your parents consent.
I married the love of my life at 17, still married to him happily, but even then I didn't dream of having a baby right away, there sre WAY too many bills to think of first. And I dated him for a few years, and my parents had to SIGN the marriage certificate for it to be legal~!!!!
If you get caught running off with your boyfriend, YES, he could be arrested for kidnapping and any other type of crime and put in jail for a LONG time.. you really want to put him through that?.. I mean, how can you say you love him if you are willing to do that to him?
After getting busted your parent may have the choice to be released from obligation of what you did, by allowing you to be an adult responsible of your own actions legally. And they might just do that instead of have you be on their worries all the time, they may just decided to let you screw it up for yourself and then NOT help you when you say "Oh Sh*t, I made a bad descision"
Let me tell you, you better know this guy loves you to take all these risks and put him through it because you want to, because you're pushing your luck when it comes to legal issues you could be dealing with |

That will not get you out of the house. 17 year olds need permission from their parents to leave the home. Moreso this is a terrible decision to make anyway. You are way to young to raise a child, there's no reason to throw away your future. Just wait another year, when you're 18 you will be a free adult. Here's a tip, whenever you want to get pregnant next time, do it for a reason other than getting out of the house. Children take up a lot of money and love, They aren't just leverage in a fued. |

There will be very serious legal consequences for your boyfriend if you choose to leave your parents' house with him against their wishes. On a more personal note, you must consider the other, perhaps more harmful consequences of your decision. Are you ready to have a baby? You and your boyfriend are still teenagers and it is highly unlikely that you both will be ready to raise a child. I'm not trying to give you a bunch of crap, cause I'm sure you've heard it all before. But please, please consider your options regarding this matter. Maybe you should stay with your parents for one more year until you're 18. If your boyfriend truly loves you, he will wait until you are an adult and ready to make a serious decision with him. Please wait and give it a little more time. Know that you're not making a mistake. |

pregnancy is not the answer to anything it is not a good way to slove any issues that may arive. As far as trying to move out with your boyfriend gose you should try it first without being pregnant that way you can see how it works out because good relationships can always go bad once you live together and your around that person 24/7 give it a year think about it and if the relationship is still going strong after living with one another then get peregnant than and it will be leagel. Also you might want to look into what the consenting age for consensual sex is in your state. I live in MN and the consenting age here is 16 there for if you say yes to haveing sex at 16 its ok and no one can go to jail for it my best advice would be try it out frist (not being pregnant) and see what happens because with you both being so close in age the police would give your boyfriend a warning first. |

Ok basically the age of consent in Texas is 17 and most places have the clause that if the adult party is over 21-30 (differs from state to state) it can still be classed as statutory rape...however since your boyfriend is only 19 it will be fine in the eyes of the law for you to get pregnant by him. However, you are still considered a chid at the age of 17 so basically tough luck on that score. At 17 it is perfectly possible for a police officer to come and take you back home if you are reported as a missing child by your parents.
Unless you apply for a Removal of Disabilites of Minority which willgrant you the right to make your own decisions as an adult. Another way would be to marry your boyfriend in which case you will be able to go live with him lawfully as well however this would of course require parental consent.
My advice would be to wait until you are 18 when you are considered an adult in texan law and you can move out regardless of what your parents say....it will also give you another year to think about your relationship with this guy and also whether getting pregnant at such a young age (and 18 is still way too young in my personaly opinion) is really what you want. |

You are 16 years old now. Where will you live? How will you pay for food, diapers, medical help? Do you know that a baby will mean you will need to devote a great deal of your attention night and day to the child? Your boyfriend also will have a big resposibility. If you have to both work have you checked the cost of babysitters? Do you want to spend time with each other? Please, please, please think about the child also. What kind of life will you be providing for this child? |

You are out of your mind. Frist of all you need to finish school. Second of all you are just beginning your life and a baby does not wing it. You should be having fun instead with a baby. Plus do you want to be on the Maury show saying that your guy denies your child. No, I don't think so, that is so embassing. If I was your mother, Oh you don't know what I would do with you. There is more than enough time to have children. You are not grown yet. You can't even vote and you want a child. Please think twice before doing it. If you truly love your parents don't do it. You might meet a better guy down the road. He's not the only one. |

um.... this one's diffuclult. I think that they might not be able 2 call the cops on you. You would be almost an legal age(18). So, yes I do think it would be ok, but, don't just read mine read other peoples because I'm not sure it's just what I think. |
