First of all it would be US dollars and I am not sure how much it would be in dollars. I think first I'd set aside the tax amount so that IRS wouldn't worry me to death. I'd buy a very nice house, a car and give some to charity. I'd pick the right one, of course. Maybe battered women or something. I would take a cruise around the world first, to get away from all of the begging relatives. After I came home I'd decorate my house. I'd put quite a bit away for my old age, like an annuity or something. I'd invest some and last, but not least, I'd build my mother a house just like she wants. |

Well, I am not sure what the equivalent a pound is to US dollars.
But, if it was a billion in US $, I would pay off all my debt, buy houses for my sons, invest in property, and travel the world over and over again. |

I'd have a massive chess board made with solid gold pieces 20 feet high. They'd be far too heavy to move. If I had any money left over, I'd use diamonds for their eyes.
When my work was done I would move back into my caravan and admire my handiwork while I put the kettle on. |

spend it, first on every member of my family, then close friends, then to the hospital that has dealt with my medical problems for the past ten years or so, an animal sactuary, will get some money, a holiday for handicapped children, i would buy a house so that homeless people can use it to make a meal for themselves, a mini bus for a elderly persons home, a stainglass window for my church, i would leave the design to the priest to chose, i would pay to have fresh water to be installed in indian village in india, also africa, maybe have three clinics built there, sponser a poverty child, buy sports equipment, and some computers for a local school, buy a house buy some property abroad, have holoidays, buy clothes, pay for my own funeral, if i died before i spent it all, it would be equally divided off to be given to my cousins children. |

what wouldn't I do is an easier question.
I wouldn't give a penny to any charity outside Great Britian. I would build affordable housing specifically for the homeless & poor. I would create youth clubs for kids to enjoy, play schemes for school holidays and organise trips for kids to get away from the Ghetto's.
I would open an Animal Sanctuary , concentrating on Cats, but all needy animals can come and stay over - FOR FREE.
I would adopt 5 British born kids, who otherwise would have no chance in life. They would live in luxury and want for nothing, ever.
The rest, I would just live. Happy. |

firtsly, flee from where u are or keep quite about it, because the last thing you want is charities/families/friends and randoms, begging/threatening you for money to the point where u got non left.
pay off my bills/mortgage etc , basically secure myself financially, than think of the longterm and make ivestments etc while i can , and then i will purchase items of luxury.oo and donate to sum charities |

Buy Sumatra & turn back into rainforest for the indiginous species - like the Sumatran Tiger & Orang-utan, for example. I'd then employ the locals to look after the place rather than have them be involved in deforestation for the growing of date palm (oil) trees. |

Don't think I would be sitting here answering your question somehow! I think I'd probably kill myself - don't think I could handle that amount of cash. I'd eat & drink myself to death, probably not giving a **** bout anything! On the other hand once the hangover had worn off from the celebrations I would love to travel the world helping really good causes & make a real difference -just think you could probably make a huge difference to people on the interest alone. Causes like everyone having access to clean water, drugs & medics & food. |
