When the Government use to issue 30 year bonds, the rich would go and buy a 30 year bond for 50K then go to a bank and trade the bond for a million dollar home, even. The maturity on the bond would be 1.2 million in 30 years, but they get the house for only 50k, pretty smart!

Dear Samantha, I am not a multi million dollar babe yet. My boyfriend and I did the same thing. We drove around the private mansions and always wish to live in the super rich housing area.

I'm looking forward to see if you really get any honest answers. But if I had to take a stab, I bet quite a bit of it is inherited money. Not that I am implying that these people don't work for a living, but sometimes it takes money to make money! I don't begrudge the well-to-do, in fact I am glad they are there. It takes people like that to sign my paycheck!

some of my neighbors do, one is an orthapedic surgeon, one is a lawyer and the other builds homes. In other words, in most cases you work your butt off and have little time for family or friends until retirement, is it worth it? Or should you just be happy where you are? I choose the latter. There are many people in 3rd world countries who have next to nothing and are completly happy. |

Most of those people are in DEBT up to their eyeballs. And its true....they have no time to enjoy their awesome homes. Who DOES get to enjoy them all day? The nannies and maids. |
