It really depends on what part of your body you get tattooed- spots like your back and chest usually hurt more than your leg or arm, but it really depends exactly where! Also, everyone has a different pain tolerance, and every body is different. I think tattoos for me are at about a 7 0r 8 (10 being highest amt of pain)- but it really isn't that bad- most tattoo artists will let you take a break when you need to. It mostly feels raw, especially when they go over the same spot again and again- it can be pretty irritating. I have many tattoos, and I'd have to say the least painfull spot for me was on my calf- on the outside of my leg- it really didn't hurt much at all! If you reeeeaaallly want a tattoo, the pain is not a big deal- go for it! |

Honestly, everyone has a different pain tolerance. It also depends where your tattoo is located. My tolerance is pretty high, so it was about a 5 for all 4 of my tattoos. The one that hurt the most was on my back. That was mostly because it was close to a nerve & you can definitely feel that. But I like getting tattoos, the pain is bearable when you are so determined to have your tattoo. So I give the pain a 5! :o) |

I only have one tatto, above my ankle and it didn't hurt at all after a few seconds. Once the tattoo artist got started the vibrations from the neddle gun made the area feel numb so I didn't feel a thing. |

that depends...lots of people say it hurts but there are the stronger people who think the can get their *** tattooed n it wount hurt but yeah...get one and find out, then you know for sure...also it depends on where you get it to! so, ya never know unless you get it done first!!! |

I give tattoos and i know they hurt but for me its just like alotta pins (needles) getting stuck in your skin but later it goes away, the worst somebody did was when it touched him he jumped up and ran away, another was just cool like it was just getting marked on by like a sharpie but to be honest it depends on how pain tolerent you are |

I'd say mostly a 4 or 5, until you hit the bad spots during the tat, then it's like an 8. They aren't half as bad a ppl say they are. |
