um ... for me ... it used to be the people i worked with and the person i worked for ... if i respect a person there morals an all .. i will haul *** and not regard my self .. but that is my personality .. other wise .. i would think a job or employment that the person wouldn't fear gosip ish stuff .. like keep it simple ... it's work then u go home .. if u make a few freinds along the way then kudo's to u .. kinda deal .. o.O intimidating aspects might aslo play a role .. the task may seen larger than they can handle ... and are intimidated that if they mess up people will not be happy bout it .. so express a patient demeanor .. and understanding reasonable nature and it should go a bit better ... go at the core of there humanity ... apeale to there nature .. and to get them in the door .. well i guess use beasty marketing tricks .. it doesn't have too look good as long as it gets numbers then no worries right .. *sigh* such is the world |

Laid back atmosphere. An atmosphere where people are allowed to be creative and still kick butt at the same time.
Too many people think that the biggest and brightest minds need to dress professionally. Not so. One of the best companies in Columbus Ohio for graphic design is Space Junk Media. They are mostly all young kids from a local art college that are great at what they do but they don't seem to be restricted to any dress code or expected to act a certain way.
Google wanted to attract young rebel kids from Stanford (I think) while they were working out of a bike shop. They lured in these young kids by hiring a full time chef. They told the chef to make huge lunch dinners and breakfasts and ween the kids off of pizza and feed them brain food such as sushi, crab and salmon. If there is not money for that offer the workers dinner money for working late. My brothers graphic design company used to wheel in bud light with some sexy girl and serve them beer just for working hard over the course of a couple of months. A lot of companies offer rewards and bonuses for working a certain amount of hours over.
Don't expect 401 k to cut it anymore. Health insurance, dental, eye, is HUGE right now. |
