Ask Bob, he gets As |

Plan B gets better quickly. In it if he had 6 A's he would get 1 +2 +4 +8 +16 +32 which is $63 and beats the $60 that Plan A would give him. Beyond 6 A's Plan B adds more than $10 for each and Plan A can never catch up.
If you are really Bob you should go with Plan B if you are likely to beat 6 A's. |

he only needs to get 3 A's to come up with more cash than on plan 1 |

This is basic arithmetic, if you need help with this, go talk to your teacher about hiring a tutor. All you have to do is add a a few numbers together. |

Plan A yields a maximum of 80 dollars, if he gets all 8 A's.
Plan B on the other hand, at the 8 A's range yields a possibility for 1 + 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 11 + 13 + 15 = 64 dollars
Bob would need to get 64 + 17 +19 +21 = 121
Plan A and B tie at 10 A's and Plan B takes over at 11 A's. |

Funky arithmetic problem
But I dont like maths
I suggest the solution used in my family:
You get a "good lad" for every A
You get a "what the???" for every B
You get a good clout around the ear for every C
You get the crap beaten out of you and chased around the house with a Dr. Scholls if you're stupid enough to get a D
NO ONE in my family ever got less than a B-...and we're all straight A students
Sure, I never got to bed the good lookin 14 and 15 year olds...but Im rocking in the big world now AND Iv never been on welfare AND Iv travelled all over the world... and Im only 24!
So yeah, Ill stick to my parent's tactic!

If he's allowed 8 A's, Then with plan A, he's got $80 but, with plan B, he's got $128. BUT if he's only allowed 7 A's, then he's got $70 with plan A, and $64 with plan B. |

6 a's he would have $60 for plan a and $63 for plan b |

I don't know I am dumb...how many potential A's are there? |

I would suggest you do your own homework. |

10*8=80
1+2+4+8+16+32+64=127
7 a's in plan B beats 8 a's in plan A
you figure out the rest...it's pretty simple if you use your head. |

Plan 1. Bob would get $80.00
Plan 2. Bob would get $129.00.
Under plan 2. for his first A he gets $1.00 his second A he gets $2.00 his third A he gets $4.00 his forth A he gets $8.00 his fifth A he get $16.00 his sixth a he gets $32.00 his seventh A he gets $64.00 his eighth A he gets $128.00. Bob says he will take plan 2 and thank you very much. Then bob says but waite a min. I had three A pluses on my report card, they should be worth something. So how about and extra buck. |

Indeed. Take the initiative to do your homework girl....Sexy babes always are smart...Well, for Paris Hiltons sake, maybe you should just make a porno, get ****** all the time and make movies, and sell yourself to 30 year old truck drivers who haven't got laid in ages. |
