That is odd that you can not even get a church to make a voucher out and take it to your land lord or rental office. they are usually willing to help out . you can try the Salvation army or just ask your landlord for more time explain to him the stuation. I am so sorry for your situation but pray and work hard sale some items that will help you to pay the rent.

DHS Churches Salvation Army United way will sometimes help also
also when you do go to court you may be able to work out a deal i wish you luck i went through the same thing a few months ago and luckily my landlord is a good man and is working with us and didnt make us move out |

Calm down. It takes a long time to evict someone even after they serve the papers. Just stay put until the Sheriff arrives. Meanwhile try Travelers Aid and Dept of Human Services and the Salvations Army. It's against the law for the landlord to hassle you or mess with your stuff. When I have had to evict people it amounted to two or three free months rent for them and a big headache for me. |

Hmmm.....call Section 8 and tell them these new problems.
Call a local social services office and ask them what they recommend, where do the refer people who get evicted.
Look for a less expensive place...and ask friends to let you stay at their house for a few weeks. Call your local cancer society and ask them what others have done in the past.
And VISIT your local congress person's office in person, letting them know that lousy health care has dire consequences and they must stop ignoring it, and then ask them where you should turn for help right now, and they will be embarassed and pull strings. That's what I would do.
good luck! |

Final papers to stop it. Call the clerk of the court for your local county and tell them and they will direct you to where to file. It'll at least extend your stay or force the apartment managers to work with you. You can only be 1-2 months due though... |

Look up in your yellow pages, or call 0 and ask for the State or City Bar Association. They might have a discounted rate where you can talk to a lawyer for like $40 for an hour. I know New York City has this available. |

I have heard that the Salvation Army and places like that can help. Unfortunatly with winter being over I think they can kick you out. You can always call a lawyer for a free consultation. Otherwise try your local social services agencies, they tend to know places that may be able to help-lots of recourses. Every area is diff otherwise I could be more specific. Good luck! |

Did you call your local Red Cross. There are a lot of charities in each city that you can take advantage of. |
