Your diaphram is displaced is the reason...go see your chiropractor and then hold your breath, plug your nose and drink water upside down. This always works for my daughter. |

A big spoonful of peanut butter always works for me. I can also do this relaxation thing, but it's harder to explain than peanut butter - and doesn't taste as good. |

Try breathing slowly in and out of a paper bag for a short period of time, it will cause your carbon dioxide level to increase.
Drinking a glass of water sometimes helps. |

I have 2 things...One is grab a small paper bag, i know it sounds dorky, but it worked for me...take the bag, hold it over your mouth and breathe into it slowly in and out about 5 to 10 times..Or Ive heard you can bend over with your head to the floor and take a drink of water.. |

my dad says he tries to visualize and mentally taste yellow mustard. It works for him, not for me though. |

It's works 90% of the time... Take a deep breath, almost as deep as you can, hold it in, try and swallow 10 times (after about 3-4 times you will run out of saliva and will STRUGGLE!) this is normal, keep trying to swallow until you reach 10.. the goal is "to struggle" this works for me often. |

I always do this when my kids have the hiccups. I put the pressure on I say Go ahead hiccup I am waiting and waiting hurry up come on if you love (whatever you like) then hiccup. And when I do that they seem to magically go away. It works every time. :o) |
