Ella Enchanted (my favorite book of ALL TIME!!) If your 15 you should like the 'Princess Diares' seris by Meg Cabot, those are really good. as well as 'Size 12 is not fat' (By Meg Cabot) It's a murder mystery. umm 'The secret life of bees' by Sue Monk Kidd is pretty good, it's about life in the 60's. If you like greek myths than the 'Myth~O~Mania' books by Kate McMullan, are pretty good, there the 'real' myths told her way. Very Funny. If you like Adventur i would suggest the Alex Rider seris (first one is called 'Stormbreaker' by Anthoney Ho...something) |

You didn't mention what type of books you are after. If you want novels and story books, a classic I read and really enjoyed when I was around your age was Gone With the Wind. It's an awsome book. If you want deep and meaningful books read any books by Jiddu Krishnamurti. They are life changing books and I started reading his books when I was around your age. They really changed my life. |

Right now the Narnia series is having a big come-back thanks to the latest movie. That is seven books, not three, but they are not real long, the language is beautiful, the characters are unforgettable, the drawings by Pauline Baynes suit the story so well that the movie was kind of anti-climactic, and the invention of this other world is just wonderful. I read them for the first time when I was 10, and I am now 50, but have read them over and over in the last 40 years b/c I love them so much. My own children wouldn't read them for some strange reason, but I always try to tell other kids about them because they are such wonderful fantasy/escape. All these answers have great suggestions, though, so you should have a lot of good reading ahead of you. This was a very interesting question. |

Check on the New York Times Bestseller list. If you love to read, I think you'll find some interesting books on there. Dan Brown is my favorite author. All of his books are fast-paced page-turners that intertwine fiction with reality. The DaVinci Code will be released as a movie this May. |

You might like the Harry Potter books, they kept me occupied for about a week (I read fast). The Neverending Story is good too if you can find a copy. |

The Earthsea Trilogy by Ursula K. Le Quin
A great fantasy trilogy following the life of a powerful
wizard from his early childhood to his eventual status as
leader of all other wizards... very dark in places but
impossible to put down.
The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien
If you like reading I'm guessing you already know this
one, but it is one of my favorites and as the pre cursor
to The Lord of the Rings is a must if you have read or
seen the films. Personally I prefer this story to the
later ones.
Against The Fall of Night by Arthur C. Clarke
Set in a future world where mankind has taken technology
to it's ultimate conclusion, but has become very
introverted believing that they must protect themselves
from outside forces, only to find that those forces are
earlier humans who went to the stars... This book
sometimes comes with another story "The Lion of Comare"
The Stars Like Dust by Isaac Asimov
Set on a distant planet in galaxy comprised of humans but
not all humans are the same anymore a particular branch
of the human family tree has become very aggressive and
is controlling the rest. This story tells of the
underground rebellion to over throw the regime and bring
back the lost idea of democrasy... A star spanning epic. |
