I get at least 10 of these type of emails a day and yes, they are international scams. The worst one threatened to assassinate me if I didn't respond. These letters are generic, written in the vaguest manner possible and mass emailed. To learn more stop by the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) established by the FBI and the National White Collar Crime Center. A link follows below. You'll most likely find copies of the emails you've been receiving as well as suggestions on how to handle them. Whatever you do, don't respond. You'll keep getting more and more! |

it is a scam. You never applied for that i'm sure. There is a site you can go to that you submit the name of the company and they will tell you if it's a scam or not. |

It's a scam, but you might as well play along untill they ask for money. Sometimes it's fun to waste their time! |

Just remember one thing - in order to win any lottery, anywhere in the world, you must BUY a ticket first.
If you didn't BUY a ticket, then it's a scam...
Simple, really! |

If you havent entered into a lottery draw then how do you expect to win.
It is a scam the next thing they will ask for is your bank details so they can transfer your winnings into it and as soon as you do you will will find your bank account empty or worse in the red.
Your best bet is to try to get as much information from them and report it to the online scam website
http://www.ic3.gov/ |

yeah it's a scam.
Always Remember: All spam emails are scams.
my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept
checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you
risk losing your $$ and your mind. |

I got the same thing.
It is fake!
I wrote to them and told them I was very, very ill and if this was a scam to let their hearts lead them to leaving me be.
They haven't contacted me since.
And truthfully, I am sick so it was a good feeling to know someone listened but a bad feeling knowing that it is still happening. |
