Lots of people get the same letter. It's not a scam, somebody wins. However the chances of winning are about as good as them accidently bringing you the $$$$$$. Purchasing something through their offer doesn't increase your chances of winning. |

Publishers Clearing house is the reader digest, Ed McMann group, but, In 62 years I have never know anyone who knew someone that won anything from them. I think the idea is you will order magazines, and keep trying. So I consider it a legal scam. |

it is not a scam, those big checks are paid and delivered just like you see on the commercials, the odds depend on the numbers of entries and they number in the 10's of millions per year but
it is legit
people are too quick to say SCAM without doing due diligence.
you people that cried SCAM should be ashamed of yourself and stop answering questions when you have no facts, youropinion is not needed, people ask question looking for the truth not what YOU THINK

usually if it's the publishers clearing house then yes, it's legit. if there's stuff in there about ordering magazines then, that's deff. it.
but as with all mail, could come the fonies. i would read with caution. and make sure you don't have to pay some rediculious amount of money... or cash some check and wire an amount back to them.
