What kind of ideas are you after?
Theme Books
Mini Albums (great for gifts)
Paper Bag Albums
CD tin albums
If you are new I would suggest heading over to your local scrapbooking store and taking a class or two just to get some going. Magazines are also a great source of ideas where you can case projects (Cope And Steal Everything). There are also about a million websites that have ideas - my personal favourite is "two peas in a bucket". They have galleries with amazing ideas and a chat area and a whole lot more.
If you need any other help just ask - I would be happy to assist, I am just not sure what kind of ideas you are after.

You mean events to scrapbook? If so, pick something fab that you've done...like a concert, family reunion, when you got your first pet...whatever! And scrapbook away!

You know what you should do? Find someone who's hosting a ''Stampin' Up'' party, lots of ideas and you get to keep whatever you make. It is very helpful.
Go to www.stampinup.com also, it has ideas and techniques right there!

There a ton of books but better search online. There are even yahoo groups for scrapbooking, and if your brave adding stamping. Contact http://www.creativememories.com search for a local consultant. That would be a good start. Ask for her next couple of shows, I am sure the hostess won't mind another buyer/guest. There are tons of my pages that look like newbie pages but after the years go on you can see the maturity of my creativity and it's cool to see the progressions. Especially when your showing them off. You do not have to invest a ton of money on the albums. I started with 8x11 pages and put them in protective sleeves from Office Max and put them in 3" binders. This is good idea when your starting because you never know when your going to find a photo down the line to add in, either from yourself or someone else that was there. Check out Ebay, they have tons of idea books (older ones) that can help you get going. Check into die cuts on Ebay, a variety for cheap w/o investing into the systems.
