It really doesn't matter. They both have just about the same things in really BIG sizes. They will usually allow "visits", so go to both and see if you like one better than the other - or is one closer so you can save drive time and gas? People tend to prefer the one they belong to, so you're likely to just get that on here.....and sheer numbers are not the best way to make a decision.....some things you just have to experience for yourself - so go Shopping!

most perfer costco, but the thing is that they both sell different kinds of things (even though they seem alike) so i would join both just for the sake of varitey. they also have different sales too and different times

it's awesome, they have everything! They make their own food which is GOOOD and you can probably find anything there. I love shopping there.
as for Sam's Club, they offer less and its related to Walmart. Ive heard they've done some pretty unfair stuff.

I would recommend the Costco club card, because there you are more vunerable to different items that can save you lots of money.
If its possible you might be able to get both if an option.
but i would suggest costco.
