Check out the cost of living for the city you are thinking of moving to first against where you are living now. That will help you decide. It could be just a break even proposition. |

Yes. (I suggest you to save those $5.00 in a brokerage account and keep living exactly the same way you lived back home)
You will become a very wealthy man if you take my advice. |

well on a full work schedule you are looking at about 800 dollars more a month(gross). you will need to factor in the cost of living in the area you would be moving to. i know where i am the cost of living varies greatly only 100 miles away, by almost double. also if you have children you will want to factor in the education systems in the area. if the cost of living, etc. is comparable to where you are now, i would consider taking the job. You will gross about 9600 more in one year and if you can keep the job for 5 years and put away that extra 9600 a year for all 5 years you will have a nice sum of 48000. if you invest that properly each year you will likely be able to retire alot sooner than you think. i highly advocate investing any additional income you recieve from taking the job. by making a few sacrifices now, you will have a lot of reward later down the road. good luck in whatever choice you make. |

Are you happy where you are at? If not change can be good. But don't be a slave to money. |

Only if your cost if living will be less. Then the five dollar an hour raise would be worth it. Research the location you are wanting to move to. If the cost of living is less than or the same as where you are now, then take a good look at the job. I'm moving 700 miles to make $50 an hour more, now that is worth the move! |

How much you make is what dummies look at. How much you keep is what smart people consider. What will living expenses be? How much of the extra $5 will be taken out for taxes? What will your net paycheck increase be? Will you constantly run the 200 miles back to your old stomping grounds? Eat up increase in gas and food? |
